body ve -one insanlar için, -thing eşyalar için kullanılır.

Everybody enjoyed the concert.

Herkes konserlerden hoşlandı.

I opened the door but there was no one at home.

Kapıyı açtım ama evde kimse yoktu.

It was a very clear day. We could see everything.

Çok açık bir gündü. Her şeyi görebiliyorduk.

 

indefinite pronouns'tan sonra tekil bir fiil kullanımı:

Everybody loves Sally.

Herkes Sally'yi sever.

Everything was ready for the party.

Parti için her şey hazırdı.

 

indefinite pronouns tan sonra çoğul zamir kullanımı:

Everybody enjoyed the concert. They stood up and clapped.
